Tubi Style exhaust systems have a character all their own and very few aftermarket exhaust systems can match their overall quality and acoustics.  That’s because the engineers at Tubi Style take very great care to build each of their mufflers specifically for the vehicle in question.  The 987 Boxster/Cayman are no exception.  They have a character all their own and the Tubi Style exhaust system matches it perfectly.  The dual polished mufflers peeking out from behind the rear bumper feature Tubi’s signature free flowing design, producing gains of approximately 15-20hp.  A good portion of this added power can be attributed to the fact that the Tubi system eliminates the highly restrictive secondary catalytic converters, allowing greatly improved exhaust flow.  The system also includes Tubi’s mandrel bent connecting pipes, which do not have any pancake sections restricting the flow of exhaust towards the mufflers.  The resulting sound from this system is a perfect match to the characteristics of the Cayman/Boxster.  While it delivers a much more muscular and aggressive exhaust sound, the Tubi system also retains the qualities that make the Cayman and Boxster so enjoyable, with no excessive cabin noise or droning.

Tubi Style SRL is strategically located in Maranello, Italy, sometimes referred to as the “Terra dei Motori”, just around the corner from Ferrari’s prestigious factory.  The company was founded in 1987 by Fausto Lettieri and Enrico Ruini, who dreamt of using their years of Formula One exhaust experience and passion for high performance automobiles to translate raw engine noise into music.  With Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and DeTomaso all being produced right in their backyard, Lettieri and Ruini immediately gained widespread recognition among local owners for their exceptionally hand-crafted exhaust systems.  By 1993, overwhelming demand for Tubi Style exhaust systems quickly overshadowed supply,forcing Tubi Style SRL to move to it’s current manufacturing facility located in Ubersetto, Italy.

With a staff of about 40 skilled employees, Tubi Style devotes nearly half of their efforts to developing and manufacturing the highest quality and most unique sounding exhaust systems on the market today.  Their remaining efforts are dedicated to the manufacturing of OE (original equipment) exhaust systems for several prestigious automobile manufacturers, as well as their continued involvement in professional racing where the company supplies exhaust systems for many Ferrari and Maserati factory GT race cars.
