The SOUL 986 Competition Exhaust Package replaces your restrictive factory exhaust system for a well engineered header and exhaust combination designed to increase power and unleash an aggressive but refined engine note befitting of a Porsche.

The 986 Boxster is a great sports car at a great price with lots of potential but is fitted with a restrictive exhaust from the factory. The stock headers have massive catalytic converters, thin flanges and squashed primary tubing – ultimately holding back power. Moving rearward to the OEM exhaust system, a secondary set of catalytic converters in the exhaust pipes choke power even more. The Soul Performance Products 986 Competition Exhaust Package focuses on all of the weak points of the OEM exhaust system and replaces them in one fell swoop. We’re proud to offer a full header and catback exhaust system that is designed to work in harmony to add excitement while minimizing any negative exhaust qualities. The SOUL mufflers practically eliminate droning – even with aftermarket competition headers the sound is reserved during partial throttle! No valves necessary – we are confident that our system is a solid option for those who like it loud when it’s appropriate but reserved around town.

CONSTRUCTION: Each system is made in-house by our fabrication team from mandrel bent .065″ wall, 2.5″ diameter T304L stainless steel tubing. Brackets are laser cut, press brake bent, then TIG welded for maximum durability. All welds are back purged for increased longevity under the most extreme conditions.

BOLT ON AND GO: Each exhaust is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment, and then foam packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. New high grade hardware is included for the header to exhaust flanges. Thorough installation instructions are included in the box for a straightforward install that can be performed by most DIY enthusiasts.

FACILITY Soul Performance Products is located in a 15,000 sq ft facility north of Philadelphia in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. We make great use of this space to keep our products in stock, ready to ship. Our mission is to quickly get you the parts you need with no delays. Our R&D area is equipped with two BendPak lifts and all tools necessary to allow us to design, engineer, test, prototype, and fixture components. Our shipping area is set up to ensure that all components get a thorough inspection, orders ship complete with all hardware, and that products are well packed.

MANUFACTURING Soul Performance Products is partnered with ISO 9001 Certified aerospace manufacturers, enabling us to work with technology and industrial scale, extreme precision equipment down to +/- 0.002 inches that would otherwise be out of the limits of an exhaust manufacturer. Our capabilities include waterjet and laser cutting, tube bending, CNC machining, robotic welding and much more. We strategically deal with vendors worldwide to find appropriate components, such as high quality HJS HD catalytic converters.
