Available in both Turbo and Turbo S trims, the car delivered staggering speed while maintaining the comfort, refinement, and practicality that made it a true daily-driver supercar.At the core of the 991 Turbo was a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine equipped with variable turbine geometry, a technology Porsche pioneered in turbocharged gasoline engines. In its first iteration, the Turbo produced around 520 horsepower, while the Turbo S pushed output to 560. A mid-cycle refresh brought even more power, with the 991.2 models raising those figures to 540 and 580 horsepower respectively.
