Product Details
The 2015–2018 Porsche Macan 3.0L and 3.6L models are known to develop coolant leaks from the factory coolant vent line (OEM Part #946-106-026-060). The original component is made entirely of plastic, which becomes brittle over time from heat cycles and age.
Eventually, this can lead to cracking or complete failure, resulting in a significant coolant leak.
Some owners notice the smell of coolant early and catch the problem before the line ruptures. Others aren’t as fortunate—many have experienced sudden coolant loss, dashboard warnings, and roadside breakdowns when the line fails completely.
If your Macan has around 60,000 miles or more, this component should be considered preventative maintenance. If you are currently experiencing a coolant leak, this line is often one of the first components worth inspecting.
Why the Factory Repair Is Difficult
The factory vent line runs from two accessible fittings at the front of the engine, then travels under the intake manifold to the rear of the engine, before finally connecting to the coolant reservoir.
Because of this routing, the factory repair procedure requires removal of the intake manifold, making it a labor-intensive and expensive job.
The RADHAUS Solution
The RADHAUS 95B.1 Coolant Vent Line Bypass Kit replaces the unreliable plastic components with durable, high-quality materials designed to outlast the life of your Macan.
Instead of routing the line under the intake manifold, this kit re-routes the vent line across the front of the engine, allowing it to connect directly to the factory coolant reservoir port.
Best of all — the intake manifold does NOT need to be removed.
While space is still somewhat limited, installation is now far faster and significantly less complicated, saving substantial labor time.
Most customers report DIY installation times of 1–2 hours, often saving hundreds of dollars in shop labor costs.
