Verus Engineering - Rear Diffuser Panel Kit (718 Cayman GT4)
Designed to Fit
- 2020 - Present Porsche Cayman GT4 (718)
Note: Not compatible with OEM mufflers.
Product Details
The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser Panel kit fills in the void where the factory diffuser lacks. The factory 718 GT4 Rear Diffuser performs well, but once you swap the suitcase style mufflers out with an aftermarket exhaust, the bumper becomes a parachute and hurts vehicle performance. Utilizing diffuser strakes and a properly fit diffuser panel, we are able to contain the horseshoe vortices coming off the rear wheels, improving performance and ensuring the factory center diffuser has clean airflow.
During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This resulted in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish. We also utilized state-of-the-art analysis software to ensure performance was improved compared to that of an OE vehicle.
The diffuser covers were designed for owners that want a slight bump in rear downforce, improved drag, and a more complete rear diffuser package for the 718 GT4.
Science:
The 718 GT4 diffuser panels are simple, they fill in the voids that are left when you remove the suitcase style mufflers. By filling in this area with a well designed panel and strakes, we are able to better control underbody airflow and improve the performance of the diffuser as a whole. Diffuser Cover is simple; it fills a void in the diffuser that is in place to fit the majority of aftermarket exhausts. If you want the most performance out of your rear diffuser, this is the part for you!

In 2014, a group of Motorsports engineers joined together and began a journey into revolutionizing the components available to the aftermarket industry. The group of engineers comprised in Verus Engineering have a wide range of previous and ongoing knowledge within the Motorsports world. We have worked within IndyCar teams and the sanctioning body, NASCAR teams, World Endurance Car (WEC) teams, as leading suppliers to the Motorsports industry, and in leading aftermarket companies as well. This vast experience allows us to cater to many needs within the automotive industry. With thoroughly engineered components including the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), thermodynamics, heat transfer, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), we strive to produce aftermarket parts that can outperform the factory components.
