The Softronics Tune for the 986 Boxster or Boxster S adds optimization, power and better driving dynamics to your 986. This tuning solution plugs into your OBD-II port for easy flashing. This software calibration works great on stock hardware or with common bolt-on performance parts.

The Porsche 986 Boxster Performance Software Tuning from Softronic works on the 1998-2004 Boxster, with the 2.5, 2.7 or 3.2 liter engine.

This product comes with a OBD2 cable, and software. that allows flashing for only 1 vehicle as it is tied to that vehicle's VIN.

The Softronic kit has several innovative features not found in other ECU programming products. First, and foremost, the Softronic software puts control into the hands of the owner with the complete freedom to upgrade their DME or also known as an ECU in a variety of ways. Most customers can return their car to stock at anytime, this though is generally not required or needed. This kit itself includes a custom cable that connects the OBDII port to the USB port on a laptop.* The user then installs and runs the included Softronic software that will enable them to install a variety of flashes available for their automobile from the Softronic servers. These flashes are specific to your car on a stock basis, upgrades and customized files are available. Please note, that the Softronic software runs only as a Windows® 32bit or Windows® 64bit Application and is currently not available for Mac® unless run under Bootcamp.
